At this point, the firing should not surprise the employee. Employers don't know their rights, and many don't know what to tell a separated employee when he asks about unemployment. At this point in the memorandum, it is good to make clear what action management has taken previously. As a supervisor, you can't hide from it when it happens.
Don't give your opinions to the corroborators. As a boss, you may hope to never have to write a worker termination notification. As a small business owner or Hr Boss of a business or corporation, it is your responsibility to stop the misbehavior immediately and to take the suitable disciplinary actions. By spreading rumors that you are going to dismiss a worker, you may find yourself with more of a muddy mess than when you began.
